About Us 

We are Robert and Jenni of Lochbuie Croft, as featured on BBC’s This Farming Life. Our family-run cattle and sheep business has spanned over 4 generations and for summer 2022 we decided to include some unique new additions. Six male alpacas, two male miniature donkeys, three pygmy goats and some friendly Highland Cows. Our diversification is very new so we are always changing and thinking of new ideas. 

As we operate a working farm, please bear this in mind when you visit us, you will be entering our working yard and we may be walking through fields with sheep and crops on occasion.

We hope you have a great experience with us and leave with smiles on your faces and a love for our animals.

Spending time interacting with animals has been proven to reduce stress and help with mental health. Animals have such a calming influence and their cute-ness is definitely a big bonus. Alpacas and Donkeys are used as therapy animals for adults and children with autism and other learning difficulties. 

The outdoors and animals can put a smile on anyones face - come and see for yourself.
